Swimming with Whale Sharks in the Bay of La Paz

The experience of a lifetime swimming with the biggest fish in the sea! Don’t worry, they only eat plankton. Whale Sharks are migratory but spawn and raise their young in the calm and warm waters of the Bay of La Paz. Best time of the year is winter and early spring.

Sport Fishing

Baja is known for its amazing sport fishing, it is the home of numerous tournaments and big catch. Some of the most sought-after fish are Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin, Mahi-mahi, Roosterfish and many more.

Snorkeling or Diving at Lands End or Cabo Pulmo

Enjoy the view from under the waves! Check out the waterfalls of sand and play with sea lions at Land’s End in Cabo San Lucas, or the marine reserve in Cabo Pulmo beaming with sea life.  Baja’s Pacific and Sea of Cortez are a wonder to experience from below.

Protect and Release baby Sea Turtles in Todos Santos

Todos Santos is the nesting ground for 3 species of endangered sea turtles: Olive Ridley, Black and Leatherbacks. Come volunteer to help save their nests from predators and human encroachment on their environments, and if the timing is right you can even guide the newly hatched babies across the shore and into the big blue.

Kayak to Todos Santos’ Historical Old Port

Set of from the local fishing beach and kayak alongside the cliffs plunging into ocean, pass by a colony of sea lions and make your way to the old Shipping Port of Todos Santos. Established in the 1800s, this port was used to export the sugar cane that supported the economy in Todos Santos through the 1800s.

Mountain Biking or Hiking into the Sierra de la Laguna

Whether on a top quality 29’ tire Trek mountain bike, or your old faithful hiking boots, Baja’s trails will take you to magical places. We have dozens of trails to take you from the coast to the local mountain range called the Sierra de la Laguna (Mountains of the Lake) where hidden rivers and waterfalls will guide you to the impressive lakes hidden in these mountains.
